El acto contó con la presencia de la familia Simonyi como invitados de honor para reconocer el papel fundamental de la filantropía de Charles y Lisa Simonyi en el avance de la construcción del Observatorio y el apoyo a la investigación que pronto transformará nuestra comprensión del Universo.
