Articles are grouped into sections by Medicine, Science, Life, and Business. Browse the news by section, or just view all the latest news. Your presspass also allows you access to embargoed news.
Delivery Options
Newswise Wires
Your free Newswise wire subscription lets you choose the Daily Wire, which contains all the day’s new articles in each section, or you may choose the sectional editions of only Medicine, Science, Life, or Business news, distributed each Monday and Thursday. You can receive your wires in either HTML or text format, and you can choose to subscribe multiple email addresses. Manage your subscription preferences here with your My Account link.
Expert Queries
Your press pass allows you access to our expert finder resources, such as the Expert Query, which will send a message to over 400 participating institutions with your request for an expert on whatever topic you need.
Look for the “expert available” indicator in the wires or on any article.
Newswise Contact Directory
The Newswise Contact Directory lists public affairs offices and media relations professional at our participating institutions, along with their department contact details.
Channels
Newswise articles are organized by topic and stored for browsing in the Breaking and Feature Channels.
New topics are added regularly as story trends develop. If you have need for a particular topic, you can suggest a channel topic.
Archive Search
Newswise also has a powerful new search engine, which can be filtered by institution, channel, article type, and section.
RSS
Newswise offers several RSS feeds for you to receive rapid updates of new articles, organized by section and customizable to subscribe through many of the most popular RSS readers.
Multimedia
Many Newswise articles included embedded multimedia, including images, video, and audio. Look for the icons in the browse menu showing what multimedia is included in each article.
