Newswise — The trustees, administration, faculty, staff and students of Alliant International University are shocked and saddened by the tragic events that unfolded on the campus of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University yesterday.
As a graduate university that houses the California School of Professional Psychology, the Center for Forensics, and the Institute for Violence, Abuse, and Trauma, Alliant stands ready to help members of the media struggling to make sense of this seemingly senseless tragedy. Our faculy includes psychologists specializing in post traumatic stress , violence and school violence prevention who will provide context and background to the events at Virginia Tech.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those who suffered loss and injury in the Virginia Tech Community.
