Newswise — Audio recordings of the keynote addresses and panel discussions from "Immigration: Recasting the Debate," a three-day conference held Oct. 3-5 at Wake Forest University, are available online at www.wfu.edu/voices. Videos of the sessions will also be posted online throughout the week.

The event, the first in the university's 2007-2008 Voices of Our Time series, featured prominent public figures and immigration policy experts and scholars who offered research and perspectives on many aspects of the current immigration debate, including border issues.

Ray Marshall, professor emeritus at the University of Texas-Austin and secretary of labor during the Carter administration, and U.S. Senator Richard Burr, (R-NC), delivered the keynote addresses at the opening and close of the conference.
