ETS Corporate Art Program Calls for Artists

Princeton, N.J. (June 21, 1999) - Coordinators of the art galleries at Educational Testing Service have issued a call for artists for 2000, the corporate art program's 25th year.

Every year, ETS exhibits the works of locally and nationally known artists in its two galleries, the David J. Brodsky Gallery at the Chauncey Conference Center and Lounge B in Conant Hall. Interested artists can call Lisa Tinsman, 609-734-5621 or 609-734-5910, and give their name and address for an application and guidelines.

The selection committee prefers two-dimensional works for its corporate exhibit space, and artists must submit 10 to 15 slides with their application form. No color photocopies or photographs will be accepted. The deadline for returning applications and slides is Sept. 10. Entries will then be juried by the ETS Art Review Committee.

ETS pays for transportation to and from the exhibit space, setup and publicity for the chosen artists. Artists may offer their pieces for sale without commission and will receive all proceeds.

ETS is the world's largest private educational measurement institution and a leader in educational research. The nonprofit organization develops and administers achievement, occupational and admission tests, such as the SAT for the College Board, for clients in education, government and business. ETS annually administers 9 million tests in the United States and 180 other countries. For further information, contact ETS's Web site at www.ets.org.
