Donna E. Shalala to Address the Challenges of Health Care in the 21st Century to NYU School of Medicine's Graduating Class

As one of the nation's foremost advocates for enhancing the lives of future generations through health and social service programs, Secretary of Health and Human Services Donna E. Shalala, will be the guest speaker at New York University School of Medicine's Commencement Day Exercise on Thursday, May 11, 2000.

Having led the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for seven years, Secretary Shalala will touch on the critical health care issues in the 21st Century.

She will address the 152 candidates for the degree of Doctor of Medicine.
