Newswise — A series of seven discussion sessions will examine the foundations of the current economic crisis, how to stimulate the economy, emerging business opportunities and the impact of the crisis on today's student, wrapping up with "Impact of the Crisis on Northwest Ohio," moderated by Ray De Winkle, new president and CEO of Greater Findlay Inc.

More than 175 professionals have registered to attend the summit. Approximately 400 University students also will attend each session, many of whom are business majors. Members of the media are welcome.

Dennis Foster, a 1967 UF alumnus who is a former telecommunications executive and current business owner of Foster Thoroughbreds in Lexington, Ky., as well as an investor and board director, organized the event and will serve as moderator and panelist during the summit.
