Dr. Greg Hill, professor and chair in the Department of Public Policy and Administration at Boise State University, can discuss what immigration policy is and its place in the American political landscape. He can present a brief history of immigration in the United States and some ideas on thinking about immigration policy in a more systematic way.

Hill also can introduce the Optimal Immigration Framework, its features and utility. He has done recent research on undocumented students and educational performance, which seeks to address some of these issues using social scientific techniques.

Hill has a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University. His research interests and expertise are in immigration policy and management, as well as general policy analysis. Hill has been interviewed numerous times by local and national media regarding immigration issues, primarily pertaining to illegal immigration.
