Newswise — Mount Sinai School of Medicine's renowned Mini-Med School will begin it's free, 4-week spring session on March 29th. This well-known lecture series offers a unique opportunity for anyone interested in medical topics to learn from world-renowned physicians and scientists.

The only program of its kind in New York City, Mini-Med School is a public science education program that attracts hundreds of students each semester. This semester Mini-Med School "students" will learn about basic medical topics such as cancer (head & neck and prostate), radiology and brain injuries. They will also have an opportunity to interact with eminent physicians and scientists in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

All classes will be held on Tuesdays from 6:00 P.M. " 8:00 P.M., beginning March 29 at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Annenberg Building, 1468 Madison Avenue (corner of Madison Ave. and 100th Street) in the Stern Auditorium on the second floor. Each class will be made up of two 45-minute lectures followed by a half hour Q & A period. Personalized certificates of completion will be awarded to all students who attend a minimum of three sessions.
