WHO: Leslie Meltzer Henry, M.Sc., J.D., Assistant Professor of Law, University of Maryland and Associate Faculty, Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics.

Meltzer Henry is co-author of “Commerce Games and the Individual Mandate,” to be published in April 2012 by the Georgetown Law Journal.

The discussion will introduce the audience to the legal issues the Court will be considering. In particular, it will focus on the whether the individual mandate, which requires Americans to purchase health insurance or pay a tax, is constitutional.
