Orfalea, Founder and Chairperson Emeritus, Kinko's, Inc.; Successfully Overcame Dyslexia to Build A New Venture Kinko's founder Paul Orfalea is widely renowned for his entrepreneurial success, growing a single copy shop into the industry leader with 1200 branches worldwide, and over 23,000 co-workers. Both People and Fortune magazines profiled Orfalea as one of several prominent leaders who has overcome dyslexia and gone on to have an illustrious career. Much of Kinko's success can be traced directly to Orfalea's unique business philosophy that was based on the founder's freethinking, creative style. Orfalea's theories and instincts on how to operate a successful business were grounded in his passion for retailing, his insistence on taking care of his co-workers and customers, and a sharp eye for opportunity. Honorary Degree RecipientAndronico Luksic, Jr., Vice Chairman of the Board, Banco de Chile, Santiago Luksic was elected director and vice-chairman of the Board of Directors of Banco de Chile on March 21, 2002. He is a member of the Latin America Advisory Committee of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE); member of the Advisory Committee to the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard University; member of the Latin American Advisory Committee (LAAC) at Harvard Business School; and member of the Advisory Board of the Panama Canal Authority. Luksic is vice chairman of Quiñenco S.A. and director of Compañia Cervecerías Unidas, Manufacturas de Cobre Madeco S.A., Empresas Lucchetti S.A. and member of SOFOFA; trustee of the Teatro Municipal de Santiago and Chile-Pacific Foundation.

He was chairman of the Board of Banco O'Higgins and subsequently chairman of the Board of Banco Santiago until May, 1999. Luksic was director and chairman of Banco de A. Edwards from September, 1999 to December, 2001. He is a member of ABAC, and was appointed by the President of the Republic and CEO chairman for the meeting in Chile of APEC 2004. He graduated from the Grange School, Chile; attended the Dublin School, Dublin, N.H.; and Babson College'76, Wellesley, Massachusetts where he has been a member of the Board of Trustees since 1994. Graduate Ceremony, 2:30 p.m.Speaker & Honorary Degree RecipientIndra Nooyi, President & Chief Financial Officer, PepsiCo, Inc. Nooyi is responsible for all of PepsiCo's corporate functions, including finance, strategy, global supply chain, business process optimization, corporate platforms, insights and innovation, procurement, investor relations and information technology. Prior to assuming her current position in May 2001, Nooyi was Senior Vice President and CFO, and SVP of Corporate Strategy and Development. She has played key roles in the Tricon spin-off, the purchase of Tropicana, the public offering of Pepsi Cola Bottling Group and the acquisition of Quaker Foods.
