After the main ceremony, students will go to separate diploma
ceremonies for their individual colleges. Sister Helen Prejean, author of Dead Man Walking, will be speaking at the School of Social Work diploma ceremony.

Berkeley -- May 6. Mortimer B. Zuckerman will be the commencement speaker for the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, on Sunday, May 23. The Haas School's commencement ceremonies encompass graduating students of four degree programs in business administration -- undergraduate, MBA, part-time evening MBA, and Ph.D.

Mr. Zuckerman publishes US News & World Report, the New York Daily News, The Atlantic Monthly, and Fast Company. He is editor-in-chief of US News & World Report and the founder of Boston Properties, Inc., a real estate investment trust. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the International Institute of Strategic Studies. He also makes occasional appearances on the PBS television show The McLaughlin Group.

Mr. Zuckerman previously taught City and Regional Planning at Harvard and Yale. A graduate of McGill University, McGill Law School, the Wharton Graduate School of Business, and Harvard Law School, Mr. Zuckerman has received three honorary degrees and was awarded the Commandeur De L'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the government of France.
