Show Features Fresh Perspectives by Artists with Disabilities

On Friday, Aug. 6, at 6 p.m. VSA arts and the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum will host the grand opening of "Through the Looking Glass: Fresh Perspectives by Artists with Disabilities," an exhibition that celebrates the contributions of artists with disabilities to the world of photography.

WHO: More than 20 photographers with disabilities from across the country were chosen by an accomplished panel of nationally renown expert photographers to display their works as part of this exclusive exhibit.

WHAT: "Through the Looking Glass: Fresh Perspectives by Artists with Disabilities" (A national celebration of the 100th anniversary of photography hosted by VSA arts and The International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum.

(Open and free to the public, this historical exhibit is one of the first to exclusively highlight the original photography of artists with disabilities.

WHEN: Exhibition Opening: Fri., Aug. 6, from 6-9 p.m. Show Dates: Aug. 5-Sept. 29. Gallery Hours: Mon.-Sat., 9 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sun., 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
