Newswise — “The Supreme Court oral argument in the case challenging Arizona's S.B. 1070 strongly indicates that the justices are inclined to leave the states with substantial authority to enforce federal immigration law — at least unless and until Congress more clearly expresses the view that it wishes the federal executive branch to play the exclusive role in this area.
