Texas A&M Presidential Rhetoric Expert Available For GOP Debate Analysis

Jennifer Mercieca, Texas A&M University professor of communication and an expert in presidential rhetoric, will be available for analysis of this year’s first GOP primary debate on Thursday. Mercieca, who can comment pre- and post-debate, serves frequently as a commentator because of her expertise in American political discourse about citizenship, democracy and the presidency. Her scholarship combines American history with rhetorical and political theory in an effort to understand democratic practices.
