Brian Fitzpatrick is an expert on constitutional law, judicial politics, judicial selection and federal courts. He was in the courtroom during the Supreme Court arguments on same sex marriage on April 28. He also participated in a moot court to help lawyer Douglas Hallward-Dreimeier prep for arguments.

Fitzpatrick served as a law clerk to Justice Antonin Scalia in 2001-2002 and as a Special Counsel for Supreme Court Nominations to Senator John Cornyn in 2005-2006.
