APS is the leading multidisciplinary professional organization in the United States dedicated to advancing pain-related research, education, treatment and team-oriented professional practice.

Some 2,000 scientists and clinicians specializing in pain and pain management are expected to attend. Scientific sessions will cover a wide range of topics on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute pain, chronic cancer and non-cancer pain and recurrent pain. Pain research also is a major focus of the meeting. Many of the nation’s leading pain researchers will present their latest discoveries in panel and poster presentations.
