Dr. Cuddeback’s presentation focuses on findings from Anceta’s recent diabetes collaborative meeting. “We examined treatment variation amongst medical groups providing care to more than 200,000 diabetes patients and found significant differences in prescribing patterns and associated costs,” said John Cuddeback. He added, “many groups are achieving similar improvements in glycemic control using the different treatment strategies with their diabetes patients. Guided by the data, our participants are learning from each other how to provide the best outcomes at the lowest overall cost.”
