Petereit, M.D., Rapid City Regional Cancer Center in South Dakota, will talk about the role of high-dose-rate brachytherapy for Gynecologic Neoplasms. * Michael Zelefsky, M.D., Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, and Jeffrey D. Forman, M.D., Harper Hospital in Detroit, are to describe the results of external beam radiotherapy and 3D conformal radiotherapy for patients will early stage prostate cancer. * Paul Wallner, D.O., University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia, and Michael Steinberg, M.D., Santa Monica Cancer Treatment Center in California, will lead a discussion on Healthcare Policy and Reimbursement -- Socio-Economics for Dummies. * Richard M. Levy, Ph.D., President and CEO of Varian Medical Systems in Palo Alto, Calif., will discuss the realities of advanced radiotherapy technology. * W. Robert Lee, M.D., Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston Salem, N.C., and Bradley Prestidge, M.D., Cancer Therapy Research Center in San Antonio, will discuss the results, considerations, morbidity and quality of life as a result of prostate brachytherapy.
