Schadler has been an active and dedicated member of MRS for many years, holding positions on the Awards Committee as well the Editorial Board for Journal of Materials Research (JMR). She was named to the 2016 class of MRS Fellows for her “seminal research in the field of polymer nanocomposites and for leadership in materials education”, and currently serves as associate editor for JMR. So it is with great pleasure that MRS welcomes her to the governing board.
The MRS Board of Directors is the governing body of the Materials Research Society and is responsible for setting the strategic direction of major Society activities.
