Newswise — NEW ORLEANS, La. – Dedicated to excellence in patient safety, several Ochsner Health hospitals and partners throughout Louisiana and Mississippi have earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit watchdog. Leapfrog assigns an “A,” “B,” “C,” “D” or “F” grade to general hospitals across the country based on over 30 measures of errors, accidents, injuries and infections as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them.

This national recognition serves as a testament to the skill, dedication and compassion that our teams demonstrate every day, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to prioritizing the well-being and safety of our patients,” said Robert Hart, MD, chief physician executive, Ochsner Health.
