ROCHESTER, MINN. ó Mayo Clinic today announced that it will publish a series of soft-cover books about specific medical conditions.

"We are very excited to be working with an organization of Mayoís stature," says Walter Zacharius, founder and chairman of Kensington Publishing. The newsletter was a source of great information presented in such a friendly, usable way that it was easy for me to understand what they were talking about and follow their advice. When I read the first issue, several years ago, I knew I wanted our company to work together with Mayo Clinic in a publishing venture."

The first book in the series is expected to be available in early 1999.
