Newswise — The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) announced June 1 that Baxter Healthcare Corporation became its first Industry Supporter as a part of the recently launched ASA Corporate Supporter Program.
The new ASA Corporate Supporter Program is an extension of the Society’s work to build corporate relationships that serve ASA members, advance the mission of the ASA and appropriately engage ASA Corporate Supporters. Baxter's involvement provides unrestricted support for the vital functions of ASA--which include member resources, professional development programming and advancement of the specialty.

The ASA Corporate Supporter Program consists of both year-round and event-related support. Year-round opportunities include the ASA Industry Supporter (available to pharmaceutical and medical device industry companies) and the ASA Practice Management Supporter (available to non-medical, practice-related companies). The Annual Meeting Supporter--available to industry and practice management companies—provides recognition opportunities at ASA's Annual Meeting.
