WHAT EVERY LABORATORY NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT CHEMICAL AND BIO TERRORISM

This comprehensive audioconference is scheduled for Wednesday, December 12, 2001, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm Eastern Standard Time.

In the wake of recent terrorist attacks, clinical laboratories need to re-examine their preparedness for natural and terrorist disasters. This audioconference is a unique opportunity to find out what laboratories need to do meet the challenge.

Experts in chemical and bio terrorism will review the vital role the clinical laboratory plays and what a comprehensive disaster plan should look like. They will share valuable resources that will help laboratories to improve their plans. Participants will know:

--The role of the clinical laboratory in the event of an attack;--How laboratories can evaluate their plans and ensure that they will work;--What biological and chemical agents may be used;--How to prepare to support local public health laboratories;--Resources available to help define and test disaster plans; and much more.

Participants will have ample time to ask questions during this interactive program.

The early registration fee (must be received by 11/21/01) is $175. After November 21, 2001, the registration fee will be $225. There is only one registration fee per site.
