“The University of California system has a mandate to serve the State. The best way we, as a business school, can do that is to try and increase the number of California applicants. Already California residents pay less in tuition than international students or those who are coming in from outside the state. We’re hoping the added fellowship will make the program more attractive to local prospects,” said Jon Kaplan, assistant dean of the Full-Time MBA program at the Merage School.
The California Resident Fellowship is only available for California residents who have been accepted into the Merage School Full-Time MBA program. The next application deadline for the 2016-2017 academic year is February 1, 2016. Some financial criteria will be applied.
