Newswise — The George Washington University is the District of Columbia's leading university on issues regarding sustainability and environmental responsibility. In the classroom, GW leads the way with world-renowned programs in domestic and international environmental law, environmental engineering, and public policy with concentrations in environmental, resource policy, and sustainable tourism among others. GW's Institute for the Analysis of Solar Energy (solar.gwu.edu) will experts from several university departments and schools to conduct critical new research in sustainability and solar research.
