In a study published July 5, 2022, researchers at University of California San Diego School of Medicine present a three-prong approach to targeting local cancers while minimizing adverse effects in other parts of the body. The precision cancer therapy combines targeted antibody drug conjugates with radiotherapy and immunotherapy to spatially restrict the killing of cancer cells by chemoradiotherapy while simultaneously activating anti-tumor immune responses.
