Promote your Experts
Pitch Your Experts
Promote your experts as sources for the media in a news release through our simple online contribution form. When Newswise staff reviews your news release, we assign an “Expert Available” tag and store your expert pitch in a special Expert Available section for our journalists to browse.
Tips for a Successful Expert Pitch:
Who: Provide the expert’s name, title, affiliation.
What: Describe your expert’s area of expertise.
Why: Detail some of your expert’s unique credentials, and if possible, include some quotations, a head shot, and info on the expert’s media training.

Queries from Reporters
Expert Queries - Interview Requests from Reporters
Newswise provides an Expert Query feature for our registered media users. They submit a request for an expert to interview, with a brief explanation for the topic of the interview and their assignment, and they indicate whether they would like to be contacted by phone or email. Newswise then sends this request to eligible Newswise members - Non-profits and higher education institutions.
