After an Unusual Year of Rain, the Atacama Desert in Chile, Known as the Driest Place on Earth, Is Awash in Colorful Flowers

Freakish rains early in the year caused by El Nino, created a beautiful flower show in Chile's Atacama desert. The area is know to get the least amount of rain year round.
